'Networking' churches - ordinance passed
The word on sydneyanglicans.net is that the legislation mentioned here yesterday has passed at the Sydney Synod!
This is very good news.
The bill carefully works it’s way around cumbersome church laws tied up with “Alternative Episcopal Oversight” to offer a hand of friendship and welcome to independent evangelical churches far afield.
From the report it sounds like the debate was robust, but this is a clear win for biblical ministry and common sense.
Well done Synod!
