A variation on the brown note

This story about a cruise ship off Africa that was attacked earlier this week by pirates or terrorists (depending on who you read).
According to an Australian eye witness, a crew member drove off the pirates using a “sonic weapon”

Memories of the Mythbusters story busting the urban myth about the infamous ‘brown note’!

  1. Was the Brown note “busted” or proven true? I’ve heard that story before but I was neer sure what to think of it…

  4. Oh! So do all my guys! I’m grown up – I think – so I guess can’t be one :-(

  5. My girls (aged 8 and 11) think MythBusters is a hoot.

Maybe by the time I make it to my third 21st, I’ll be ready… Missed out for the second.

I heard Jamie and Adam described as models of 21st century men:

    • they are well educated and articulate
    • they have their own business and seem to be successful
    • they practice equal opportunity—their female staff do the same jobs as the males (head welder is a woman)
    • they have the world’s best shed
    • they get to blow things up!

Not sure that the commentator who said these things had much of a Gospel perspective… but MythBusting does look like fun!
