Google Desktop concerns
It’s not a first, but the latest incarnation of the Google Desktop search tool (v3) does appear to have some privacy issues.
The newest version can track files on multiple computers. In the past, it simply indexed files, but with this version it actually copies personal text files to Google servers before routing them back to the PC(s).
I can’t imagine what Google would want to know about me, but it is a concern.
