Office 2007 - looking good
Some will know that I’m beta testing the next release of Microsoft’s Office suite – my third such test.
While the NDA stops me from saying much, one of the really cool aspects of this beta is that a few key people at MS who are closely involved in the development of Office 2007 are blogging about the process.
As the really big new thing in O2007 is the totally revised user interface, it’s good to be able to read of the thinking and process behind such a radical shift in software design.
This is the best of the MS guys blogs, complete with a bunch of screenshots: Jensen’s blog

My boss gave me his 1995 computer but it cannot take High speed internet. I was told to get AOL…How do I even do that?

1995! That’s a museum piece Eden!
I think what they were suggesting was that you get dial-up internet for that machine. I’m guessing that AOL have a dial up plan. But be aware: there will be huge security holes in a machine that age, and I would be very wary about putting it online in any way.
