Top Gear Back!
Today was a return to Sydney and work tomorrow, but: joy of joys, what better way to end a holiday than with the first of the new series of Top Gear on SBS tonight.
Many have said it before, but those guys probably have the *best*job in the world!

Well, yes, but tonight was Season 6 Episode 1. In the UK they’re on Season 8, Episode 6.

Actually, I reckon Top Gear Presenter ties with Mythbuster as best job in the world!

Or Richard, episodes are easily downloadable via bittorrent. The Range Rover Sports v Panther tank snippet can be found on a number of the video sites popping up, e.g. YouTube.

Neil, thanks for the offer, but if I need to see it THAT much, I’ll just do as Simon suggests and download. Rest assured, however, that the Toppy is now programmed!
I reckon the RR v Panther will have a long way to go to top the rocket powered mini on the ski jump! Not sure if that’s been on TV here, but it was on Google Vid for a while and now has a more permanent home chez nerd.

That’s was a Challenger 2 tank, guys. The Panther tank served in the Fuhrers army in WWII. The Rangie probably would have had a fighting chance against the Third Reich.
