RSS - Real Simple Syndication for everyone

Only a few months ago, I knew virtually nothing of RSS feeds. Now, they are a regular part of my daily life.

Having RSS feeds set up on my system means that I don’t have to go to umpteen web sites checking for new material.
Subscribing to RSS feeds on such websites as: The Sydney Morning Herald, the BBC, T.A.C., Sydneyanglicans, Simon’s site, Ben’s blog, and numerous Christian and ‘geek news’ type sites means that I now glance at my RSS Aggregator (software that collects the information from the various feeds I’ve subscribed to) tells me if there is any fresh content on those sites.
I can then look at a summary of that material and see if it’s worth visiting the web site concerned for a fuller read.

This is a major step forward in handling the information I want to take in each day, and I suspect will gradually become more and more mainstream.

You can get RSS Feeds of the content here, by using the links in the lower part of the right hand column on most pages.

Let me know if you use this facility, as I’m interested to see how it work for people.
