iPod - second reactions

OK, gradually getting my head around this beast – although time has been limited this week.

But I’ve ripped a few of my CD’s to the Pod during the week and enjoyed hitting ‘shuffle’ while working away at my desk.

Today’s step was to get it working in the car using an FM transmitter to play through the non-MP3, no-aux input car sound system that Holden insist on installing in their Commodores at the moment.
Aside: This sound system is what I guess true iPod freaks lust after.

My needs are a little more modest though, and I settled on the Belkin Fm Transmitter as being reasonable value and most flexible. The feature I most wanted was the option of using any frequency in the FM band, so as to be able to work around the increasing number of FM stations in Sydney. 106.1Mhz worked the best today driving between home and West Ryde.

I’m persevering with putting my collection of taped Bible Talks on my hard drive, and am looking foward the flexibility of listening to those anywhere…

Next step is to work out how to fully utilise iTunes and Ananpod
