Windana - Day 2

Day 2 at Windana has seen increased number and much smoother operation across the various sections.

The addition of a third bus meant that we could now transport 55 people today. This reflected the overall increase in numbers attending today.
Infants had around 65
Primary 98(!)
Teens 30+
Adults 35+

Numbers are not everything, but it’s wonderful to see more people coming and hearing the gospel.

In the Q&A Cafe, we did another morning of seemingly endless cups of coffee and tea. This morning, I spoke briefly on how we can know about God and how we can know him. I encouraged people to continuing discussing some of the things I raised as they went off to craft, or to stay and chat further in the cafe.
The whole morning felt a lot more intentional today than yesterday.

The prayer point from yesterday about unruly infants boys was answered, and the whole section went very well, even with the increased numbers.

Most of the teens came back, along with some extras, and the team reported that a number of the kids were ready and willing to discuss gospel issues with them.

So, to pray:

• Give thanks for much answered prayer from yesterday.
• Prayer for continued good attendance in all sections.
• URGENT Pray for extra staff for the crèche. With more mums staying for the cafe and craft, they are understaffed.
• Pray that many of the kids would come each day, to benefit from the ongoing nature of the program.
• Pray for the final event on Friday as it’s put together. Many parents come to see this and witness what their children have learned.
• Pray for really effective follow up by local churches.
