Windana - Day 3

Wednesday Windana – the mid point of the week, and happened, and it was a great day!

Numbers leveled off today in most sections, but the quality of time with the kids was up.
The creche reported more littlies than ever – but the schools longjump sandpit saved the day!

Infants reported a few ‘bouncy boys’, but overall a really good group numbering around 75.
Quite a few parents of infants kids hang around and watch. One lady expressed interest in the stock of give-away Bibles and was happily given one to take home.
We also kept some infants mum’s going with cappucino’s from the Q&A Cafe.

Primary reported their best day yet in terms of the time with the kids!

Teens again had good numbers and some great discussion.

The adult team saw about 35+ folk at their programs, and the cafe had a steady day of serving top coffee and tea, with some folk choosing to hang around for conversation while others went for the craft sessions.
One team member shared her testimony, which promted a visitor to engage with another team member about how she can come to know God in the same way!

Praise:

  • Thank God for the great work he is doing in the lives of the kids and adults you are coming each day.
  • Thank God for the lady who wants a copy of the CD we sung kids song from today.
  • Thank God for the infants parent who was given a Bible.

Pray:

  • For sustained energy for the team.
  • For us to ‘finish strong’ in the gospel!
  • For the grand finale on Friday – that many parents would come and hear about Jesus.
  • That God would draw kids and adults into relationship with himself through Windana
  • That member churches would be diligent in following up people after the week.
