The return of 'Spooks'
One the best spy series ever retuned to ABC TV last night. And a fine return it was.
I could never quite believe that Tom really did just walk out into the ocean and drown himself in the final episode of the last series.
But I have to say, the script for last night’s episode resolved most of the tricky bits very well. The main part that lacked credibility was the almost-cordial drink and cigar between Harry and Oliver Mace at the end. Why Harry wasn’t tearing the throat out of Oliver, I don’t know!
Any other ‘Spooks’ fans out there?

I love Spooks. Very cool and very British.
I like RedCap too but it got annoying towards the end of the last season.
Also, silent witness is back!

Redcap started really well, but they just couldn’t resist getting whats-her-face into bed. That’s when it started going downhill. The European feel was nice though.
Silent Witness – another excellent return. Except that it’s a tad confusing, having just watched ‘The Commander’ where Amanda Burton played another powerful female, but one with a lot less self control.
A very nasty cliff-hanger ending last Friday though.

I don’t like the jazzed-up theme for the new series. Much prefer the straigth choral track – hope they don’t touch the theme to Jonathon Creek.
